Domicile students of Jammu & Kashmir who are in need of financial support for their higher studies can apply for J&K PMSSS Scholarship 2023. The scholarship is offered to the candidates to pursue degree and diploma courses pursued outside the UT of Jammu & Kashmir. The online application form for the scholarship is likely to release in the first week of July 2023 and the last date for registration may fall in the last week of July 2023. J&K PMSSS Scholarship 2023 Eligibility Criteria
Ineligibility for the scholarship
- 1. Candidates who will pursue their degree/ diploma courses from Open University will not be eligible for the PMSSS scholarship.
- 2. Those who are availing financial benefits from any other scheme are not eligible for the PMSSS scholarship.
- 3. Applicants getting admission under management quota will not be eligible to apply for the PMSSS scholarship.
J&K PMSSS Registration Process
Interested candidates can apply for the J&K PMSSS Scholarship by visiting the official website of AICTE. Candidate can register on the basis of their class 12th or diploma merit by selecting the appropriate link.
- To fill the application form, the candidates will have to provide their basic personal and educational information.
- Scanned copies of all candidates’ photograph, signature and other important documents should also be uploaded in the application form.
- After all the details are entered correctly, the candidates can submit their application form online.
- Upon successful submission, the candidates should take a printout of the application form and keep it safe for future reference.
- A copy of the application form should be carried to the document verification center along with other important documents.
Document Verification & Choice Filling
- The applicants who submit their applications are required to get their uploaded documents verified with the originals at the nearest Facilitation Centers.
- Candidates should collect the copy of document verification report from the facilitation center after document verification without .
- After verification, the same should be uploaded with stamp on portal of Facilitation Centers after which the choice filling window will be activated.
- Students should provide their choice for the college and branch based on which they will be shortlisted for scholarship award.
- The choice filling window will be blocked on the last date, after that no change will be allowed in order of preference.
Important Documents
The following documents should be carried in original & one set of self-attested photocopies at the Facilitation Centers for verification:
- J&K PMSSS Scholarship Application Form
- Xth Standard Mark sheet
- XIIth Standard Mark sheet (if any)
- Diploma Certificate (for lateral entry only)
- Domicile Certificate
- Aadhaar Card (if any)
- Family Income Certificate (Issued by Tahsildar or equivalent)
- Valid Caste certificate for SC/ ST/ SEBC for claiming the reservation as per State Govt. Policy
- Valid Disability Certificate (if any)
Note: The original documents will be returned to the candidates and it is their duty to make sure that they receive all their original documents back.
Merit List & Seat Allotment
- A merit list of the candidates will be drawn on the basis of candidates’ marks obtained in CBSE/ JKBOSE and application data.
- The list will be displayed online ahead of the commencement of counseling process.
- Counseling will be done through online mode and the candidates will be allotted seats as per their merit and choice.
- Candidates who are allotted a seat then need to confirm their seats to obtain the confirmation letter/ welcome letter.
- Those in possession of this list can then take part in the scholarship selection process.
J&K PMSSS Scholarship 2023 Selection Process
- Candidates who have confirmed their seats into the respective colleges need to upload the joining report from the student login.
- The report must be uploaded on or before the specified last date to be successfully considered for the scholarship.
- Joining report uploaded by the candidates should be online verified by the institute from institute login.
- The institute also need to verify the bank details and Aadhaar number (if any) of the candidate.
Award of Scholarship
The scholarship will be awarded to the selected students as per the following rule:

Yes. Officer of facilitation centre can only edit the online application form, subject to the production of original documents in support of your claim for editing.
Both photo & signature should be in .JPG/ .PDF/ .PNG format with file size less than 2 MB.
